The website with the electronic address https://www.memoriaexpo98.com (the WEBSITE) was creatd by HOTI ORIENTE – HOTÉIS S.A. (hereinafter “Hoti Hotéis”), with the purpose of making users aware of the history of EXPO’98, 1998 World Exposition, or, officially, 1998 Lisbon International Exposition, the most important event in Portugal’s recent history whose theme was “The oceans: a heritage for the future”, which was held in Lisbon from May 22 to September 30, 1998 and whose purpose was to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Portuguese Discoveries.
